All the Bachelor Degree Programmes of the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics (DMIF) involve a compulsory curricular internship which may be conducted at a company. For the Master Degree Programmes, internships are not compulsory but are recommended in some cases. There are specific procedures for internships relating to the Multimedia Science and Technology and Multimedia Communication and Information Technology programmes.
For Companies – Information and Services
In order to take on an intern, the hosting party must sign an agreement with the University. This arrangement makes it possible to put in place the insurance cover required by law and for the company to be added to the list of parties willing to take on interns.
The arrangement is entered into through signing of a cooperation agreement. Documentation on legislation and information on the arrangement procedure can be found on the affiliation procedure pages.
The University makes certain services available to companies in order to help balance supply and demand of internship opportunities, such as:
- A notice board for advertising internship vacancies ( by completing this form )
- Access to the profiles of its undergraduates and students who have graduated in the last 12 months and have authorised publication of their personal details ( registration is required ).
A list of companies affiliated with the University is available on the relevant page.
In addition, the University of Udine’s offices are open to recent graduates for activation of postgraduate internships.
