Multi-messenger astronomy has experienced an explosive development in the past few years. It is based on the coordinated observation of astrophysical objects in several “messengers”: electromagnetic radiation, cosmic rays, neutrinos, and gravitational waves. Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) are an important class of sources in this field.
During 2019 the Major Atmospheric Gamma Ray Cherenkov (MAGIC) telescopes announced for the first time the observation of Very High Energy (VHE, E ≥ 3 00 GeV) photons associated with a GRB (GRB190114C). My goal is to analyse GRBs at VHE and characterize the visibility of this component with the Cherenkov Telescope Array(CTA). A series of simulation and analysis chains will be developed in order to study this component. Waiting for CTA to start observation I’ll take part to MAGIC and LST data analysis.
The possibility to reveal electromagnetic counterparts of Gravitational Waves with CTA will also be studied.
